Location: Wetaskiwin, AB (with work across Millet, Leduc, Camrose, Edmonton, Maskwacis, Ponoka, Stettler, and Calmar)
Position: Cement Finisher (NOC 73100)
Wage: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour
Employment Type: Seasonal, Full-time (30-60 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

Concrete Placement: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces, ensuring correct grades.
Surface Finishing: Operate power vibrators, level concrete, and apply finishing touches using hand and power tools.
Installations: Set anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in fresh concrete.
Surface Treatments: Apply hardeners, sealers, and other materials for curing, waterproofing, and restoring concrete.
Repairs: Repair and resurface worn or damaged concrete structures.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, particularly with power cutting tools and poured concrete.
Language: English
Personal Traits: Team-oriented, dependable, flexible, accurate, and safety-conscious.
Work Conditions:

Physical Demands: Must handle heavy loads, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Environment: Work outdoors in various conditions—dusty, noisy, and physically demanding.
