The Alberta Association of Recreation Facility Personnel (AARFP) has been a cornerstone in Calgary's recreation sector since 1978. As a not-for-profit organization, we focus on education, consultation, and advocacy for individuals in recreation facility operations. Our volunteer Board of Directors represents over 1,400 passionate members, working tirelessly to elevate our industry.
With a diverse community of 60+ associate members, AARFP offers extensive training programs covering arena operations, pool management, parks, sports fields, and building maintenance. Our annual events, including a conference and trade show, offer networking opportunities for recreation professionals, ensuring members stay informed on the latest industry trends. We're dedicated to providing resources and education tailored to serve both individuals and facilities across Alberta and beyond.
