The Alberta Legislature Grounds, located in Edmonton, is a cornerstone of the province's legislative heritage. Established officially in 1972, it facilitates public access to the workings of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. The grounds host a variety of events and provide visitors with insights into Alberta's history and legislative processes.
Our mission is to promote transparency and engagement by offering Albertans a firsthand look at their government in action. The iconic architecture and serene landscape make it a perfect location for educational visits, special events, and public gatherings. Welcome to the heart of democracy in Alberta, where history comes alive.
