Bear Country Guiding & Consulting, based in Calgary, specializes in immersive wildlife tours in the stunning Rocky Mountains. Founded by Tibor Egri, a passionate guide with a master's degree in biology and extensive experience in human-wildlife conflict management, we offer enriching interpretive hikes that connect our guests with the natural ecosystem.
With decades of experience in Alberta and its national parks, we focus on educating our clients about local wildlife and safe interactions in bear country. Our aim is to fuse enjoyment with knowledge, ensuring that every hike not only creates lasting memories but also promotes awareness of wildlife coexistence in our shared environment.
