The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs' lives across Canada. Based in Winnipeg, we collect and distribute high-quality canine blood products to veterinary hospitals, ensuring that every dog in need receives timely care. Since our inception in 1996, we have expanded our services nationwide, raising awareness about the importance of animal blood banking and educating veterinary professionals about transfusion medicine.
With over 2,100 active canine donors, our mission is driven by the compassion of donor dogs who give the gift of life to others facing medical challenges. As we continue to grow, we aim to establish processing centers in every province, enhancing our ability to support veterinary clinics with vital blood products more efficiently.
