Literacyworks is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to empowering adult learners with essential literacy skills. Operating since 1978, we are proud to be the longest-running literacy program in Manitoba. Our mission is to ensure that all adults in Winnipeg can participate fully in their communities through improved literacy.
Our certified instructors teach vital skills in reading, writing, and math, which are crucial for personal development and success in today's economy. By focusing on a skills-based approach, our programs help learners gain confidence and enhance their quality of life, making literacy an attainable goal for everyone in our city.
