The MLC Gallery, nestled in Toronto, is a unique cultural institution established in 2005. Our focus lies in researching modern literary and cultural productions from the modernist era, specifically from 1880 to 1945. We are dedicated to preserving and advancing the heritage of modernist women while promoting Canadian cultural narratives on an international scale.
Serving the local community, the MLC Gallery employs digital innovations to enhance our outreach and cultural studies. We host exhibitions that engage with historical contexts, such as our featured exhibition on Canadian World War II quilts. Through research and public engagement, we aim to deepen the understanding of modernism and its diverse expressions.
