Newcomers Employment & Education Development Services (N.E.E.D.S.) Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Established in 1999 by an immigrant woman, we provide free services to assist newcomers in their transition to life in Canada. Each year, more than 2,000 immigrant and refugee children, youth, and their families benefit from our comprehensive support services.
Our founder understands firsthand the challenges faced by newcomers. After overcoming her own struggles with language and employment, she dedicated her life to creating a welcoming space for others experiencing similar obstacles. At N.E.E.D.S. Inc., we focus on empowering newcomers through education, employment resources, and psychosocial support, helping them thrive within the community and reach their full potential.
