Rutherford Library is located at the University of Alberta and stands as the largest library on campus and the second-largest research library in Canada. We are dedicated to supporting students and faculty in their academic pursuits across various disciplines, including Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, and Music.
Our library features five floors packed with resources, study areas, and computer workstations, along with specialized collections like the Bruce Peel Special Collections. We create an inclusive environment for all, offering a designated Family Corner and initiatives such as the Library Indigenous Student Engagement Group to enhance community involvement and support for Indigenous students.
