WINS Thrift Store, part of the Women in Need Society (WINS), has been a staple in Calgary since 1992. Over the years, we have established seven thrift store locations and a Donation Centre, offering a wide range of gently used items while generating revenue to fund essential community programs. In 2024 alone, we supported over 27,000 individuals, illustrating our deep commitment to the local community.
As a charity social enterprise, we aim to tackle issues like gender inequality and poverty by providing support and resources to women and their families. Our innovative approach merges charitable values with business practices, ensuring that every contribution, whether through shopping or donating, directly benefits those in need right here in Calgary. Together, we can uplift those who face difficult times and help them thrive.
