Welcome to Backstage Theatre, an artistic hub located in Edmonton. We are dedicated to celebrating diverse and inclusive performing arts, working alongside the Indigenous nations of the Papaschase Cree and beyond. For over 40 years, we have brought community and creativity together to craft exceptional artistic experiences.
At the heart of the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, we offer a platform for artists to showcase their talents. Our venue, the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns, serves as a dynamic gathering space for local and international performances, open mics, workshops, and much more. Join us as we celebrate the art of storytelling and the power it has to unite and inspire our community.
