Folklorama is a leading nonprofit organization based in Winnipeg, dedicated to connecting communities through the celebration of ethno-cultural arts and education. Our flagship event, the Folklorama Festival, occurs each August and showcases authentic performances and experiences from diverse ethnic communities in Manitoba.
Since its inception in 1970, Folklorama has grown into the largest multicultural festival of its kind. Through our Folklorama 365 programming, we extend the festival experience year-round, engaging schools, businesses, and local events, affirming our mission to bring people together through cultural education and appreciation.
