The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation (WAF) is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on promoting architectural education in Winnipeg. Our team consists of passionate architects, historians, and individuals who admire the unique architectural landscape of our city. Since our inception in 1996, we have placed a strong emphasis on the modernist era, while also exploring contemporary architecture and public art.
We provide a range of resources for the community, including talks, guided tours, and virtual exhibits that allow residents to engage with Winnipeg's architecture. Many of our initiatives are supported by various cultural institutions, ensuring that we continue to celebrate our city's distinctive heritage and its architectural story.
